Before your session
We want to keep your session fun and creative, and the best way we can do that is for everyone to do some preparation before we ever take a photo. Below, you’ll find some helpful things to make sure we can get the most out of your time.
make it musical
Music is so important. We encourage you to send us your favorite playlist, artist, album, whatever. If it makes you jam, then we want to hear it. Your session should be a no-stress event, and music is an excellent way to keep it fun.
wardrobe
If you’ve selected a session with multiple looks, follow these guidelines when picking them out.
(These are merely suggestions, and we encourage all of our clients to bring multiple options to their session, no matter how many looks they have booked for.)
First and foremost, pick clothes you love to wear. The ones that make you feel like the best version of yourself. It’s so much easier to get the perfect shot when you feel comfortable in what you’re wearing.
Second, pick clothes that suggest character. Do you need a “lawyer look?” Think about grabbing a nice suit jacket and button up. Really think about the look you want to achieve with your session, and pick clothes that can help suggest those characters.
Lastly, solid colors are going to be the best for getting these shots. However, subtle patterns can also be powerful on camera. If you’re unsure that an item will work, or if you need help generating ideas, let us know and we’d be happy to offer guidance.
payment
A nonrefundable deposit of $100 will be required to lock in your shoot date. You will receive an invoice once a date and time is set, and once the deposit payment is completed you will be confirmed. If the deposit is not paid within 48 hours, your time slot will be forfeited. The remaining payment will be due the day of the shoot.
We accept Zelle, Venmo, cash, or check.
Reshoots and refunds are not offered once a session has taken place.
